Lenten Meditation Day-19 Leb at the Wilderness by Rev. Sunil Joy Koippallil

Leb at the Wilderness Leb= Tenderly Speaking God. God loves Israel.. God wants to speak tenderly (Leb)- 1:10 Leb at the wilderness- 03:15 Israel was formed as a nation not after occupying the land of Canaan, but at the wilderness for 40 years- 3:35. Thomson, the poet- "The Hound of Heaven"(à´¸്വർഗ്à´—à´¤്à´¤ിà´²െ à´µേà´Ÿ്à´Ÿà´ª്പട്à´Ÿി) 6:42 Little more of the Book: "In the Hebrew Bible, Hosea (Hebrew=Salvation), son of Beeri, was an 8th-century BC prophet in Israel and the nominal primary author of the Book of Hosea. One of the early writing prophets, Hosea used his own experience as a symbolic representation of God and Israel. The relationship between Hosea and Gomer parallels the relationship between God and Israel. Even though Gomer runs away from Hosea and sleeps with another man, he loves her anyway and forgives her. Likewise, even though the people of Israel worshipped false gods, God continued to love them and did not abandon his covenant with them."
